Dumping Life…. One Thought at a Time….
My first ever computer was Intel 486 66Mhz with 4MB ram and windows 3.1, back in stone ages. I have had quite a few computers through out the years and have enjoyed every single one of them. But during the past few years I have just been using laptops. I decided that now, as I seem to have settled, it is time to get something that is little more robust and allows me to take care of all the things I do online.
So what did I get? Well it is a Desktop PC for a change, eMachines, AMD 64×2 4200+ 2.20Ghz, 2GB Ram, 400 GB Hard Disk, DVD/RW and 22″ LCD Flat Panel monitor from Acer. I left out few other details like sound card and graphics card. Monitor is more like a TV as it is 22″ and the quality is excellent, picture is very crisp and I am loving it….
My new PC also has Vista, this is my first time using Vista as I have used XP since its been out. I think Vista’s GUI is obviously better and it seems to be running real well without any problems. Vista looks more like the Mac OS; I don’t like anything that Apple makes, iPods, iPhones included. If upcoming versions of Microsoft OS happen to look more like Macs, I am going to be in trouble.
Anywayz… last week was a busy week…. I was job hunting, working on my new website and researching computers. One of the thing is now out of the way, website should be done by the end of this week and I will let you know when I have a job…
