Have You Received your IRS Stimulus Payment?
16May2008 Filed under: Finance, U.S Author: Zahid Lilani | 993 viewsAccording to the IRS website, stimulus payments were suppose to go out starting May 2nd for people who will be receiving direct deposit. According to the schedule, I was suppose to get the payment on May 2nd as I paid my taxes using direct withdrawal and so on May 2nd I was expecting a deposit…. well it is May 16th today and still no deposit.
The payment schedule says that for people whose last 2 digits of SSN are between 00 and 20, they should see a direct deposit on May 2nd. I fall in that category but it’s been more than 2 weeks since May 2nd.
I am sure that I am not the only one who hasn’t received direct deposit and wanted to know if anyone else reading this blog is in my boat. Are you?

Was supposed to get mine on the 16th of may, but still havn’t received it, there has also been numerous reports of the irs depositing peoples stimulus refunds into wrong accounts!!! it says wait up to 2 weeks after initial deposit date, but who knows?!

I received a letter on June 9th stating I should expect my check in the mail on Friday, June 13th. Why did they bother to send me a letter telling me when I’m getting my check when, 1 week later, I still haven’t received it. Why kill twice as many trees as necessary sending everyone an inaccurate letter?!

Haha funny, yeah I know, I was also thinking about this notification they send before the check arrives… maybe so that you don’t call up and harass govt employees asking them “where is my payment?”
I have received my payment btw… first week of june !
