Hotmail won’t work with Chrome?

I just downloaded Google’s Chrome web browser and think it’s pretty cool. It has a slick desgin and pages seem to load way faster than Internet Explorer.

I tried logging into my Hotmail account which is my primary email account and saw this message:

Hotmail wants me to upgrade my web browser and I don’t see a reason why it won’t work with Chrome. I did go ahead and didn’t face any problems. I wasn’t that pissed off at Microsoft because it does recommend I use Firefox or Safari which are not Microsoft products.

Having used internet explorer for years I think it is about time I switched to Chrome. I never liked Firefox I don’t know why and Safari is good on the iPhone and I rather keep it that way than try it on my PC.

Did I mention I bought iPhone 3G 8gb today? :)

I had similar experiences (a warning to upgrade my browser, then not being able to compose any emails, now Hotmail pages (including the 'sign on' page won't even load at all.

Found new way to fix this.

    1. Click Tools
    2. Options
    3. Under the Hood
    4. Scroll down to "Change Proxy Settings"
    5. Click "Security" tab
    6. Set "Security levels for this zone" to Medium
    7. OK
    8. Close
