Found new way to fix this.

1. Click Tools
2. Options
3. Under the Hood
4. Scroll down to “Change Proxy Settings”
5. Click “Security” tab
6. Set “Security levels for this zone” to Medium
7. OK
8. Close

I had similar experiences (a warning to upgrade my browser, then not being able to compose any emails, now Hotmail pages (including the ’sign on’ page won’t even load at all.

i saw that same screen a few times, but u click the continue to Windows Live link at the bottom. its hidden inside the text basically, but u can see it because its green.
