USPS Contemplating 5-Day Work Week

This is fresh off the wires that USPS is contemplating 5-day work week in order to cut costs. They plan to cut 1-day from the work week but that necessarily doesn’t mean they would cut Saturday. A big part of the problem is a decline in mail volume as customers use e-mail for personal and business correspondence, and private courier services overtake the post office’s overnight delivery.

As outrageous it may sound but USPS believes it can save $3 Billion a year if they cut one work day. Because Tuesday is the lightest day for mail delivery, Saturday might not go away after all. Whatever the case, what about my Netflix?

Yeah, call me selfish but I live off Netflix and I am devastated that I will be getting my movies late in the mail. Besides that, I am also a procrastinator and even though I pay most of my bills online, I pay few of them by mail…

Aahhh… Bad news is everywhere…

It is because of people like you that pay their bills online that causes the mail volume to be low and thus causes us to have to loose business, yet you want your netflix there but you do not fully support us. what is up with that crap? support us and pay everything by mail and send cards instead of ecards and your netflix will not be interrupted.

I don’t know what is up with that crap but I know that you have decided to stick to licking glue everytime you send a bill. Read the post carefully, I say that I do pay some bills by mail.

I know you probably work for USPS and I understand your job might depend on me using snail mail and not email but there are some things that need to go…

Netflix will soon be on TV, I won’t really need USPS to deliver me my movies and I will also make sure that instead of paying some of my bills using snail mail, i will only make my payments online…

Next time try to be nice…

you just flat out SUCK! What i hear is “I can't live without my Netflix” so i'll demand some guy, who is probably missing his kids T-Ball game, to deliver MY entertainment because I don't want to get off my FAT ASS! Deal with it, we get nothing but adds and bills anymore and YOU can't live without YOUR netflix. I'm sorry… for you!
