I am little late in posting this letter that was released on the occassion of Eid-ul-Fitr marking the end of Ramadan. This letter is from 138 Muslim leaders from various countries and branches of Islam. It is directed towards Christian leaders and calls for peace between the two faiths.

Yesterday US Congress passed a bill H.RES.635 recognizing the commencement of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting and spiritual renewal, and expressing respect to Muslims in the United States and throughout the world on this occasion, and for other purposes. USPS just announced the release of new Eid Mubarak stamp for 2007. Eid is less then 2 weeks away so the timing seems to be perfect. I can’t recall how the previous Eid Muabarak stamp looked like but I am darn sure it was very similar to this one except for the 41 cents on [...]
This wednesday there is “Meet the Firms” event planned at SFSU that will take place in Jack Adams Hall between 6 and 9 pm. This event is more dominated by Accounting/CPA firms but you do see other recruiters from different industries recruiting for most probably accounting related jobs.
